RELIABILITY & DURABILITY
OPTIMIZED CURRENT AND COOLING
A new cowling exhaust port and stator fan keeps everything under the cowling nice and cool, maximizing available net charging power at all RPM, especially in the lower RPM ranges. The cooling effect is impactful enough to create more available current for the new 4.3L V6 F350 over the 4.2L V6 F300 at all RPM.
Hole Shot & Acceleration
Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) boosts power and throttle response in the low- and mid-RPM ranges.
Our 4.3L V6 Offshore F350’s 70-amp alternator produces more than 30 net amps per outboard at idle—nearly double that of Yamaha’s other comparable outboards.
